Current registration with CRNNS

BScN preferred

Excellent Attendance Record

Casual CCA's:

CCA certificate required

Excellent attendance record/communication skills

Experience working with the elderly

Willing to work days, evening and back shifts, weekends and holidays.

REQUIRED:

Diploma in Human Services with specialization in THERAPEUTIC RECREATION

Coursework in Gerontology would be considered an asset

Knowledge of programming and techniques in recreation

Experience working with geriatric clients in a Long Term Care setting (2-3 years)

Experience working with challenging behaviors

Demonstrated strong attendance record
